Bubble Gum Crush?

Like many of us I'm not too sure about my Orange Crush mystery quilt. If you lay just the two blocks together they are pretty scary looking. But getting it all up on the design wall makes me feel a tad better about it. I have a few more blocks to press and add to the wall, and the corner blocks to make. Then I have to think carefully about borders. That's what's holding up my Carolina Crossroads.....sigh.

Seems a bit blah. (though it's brighter than it looks here) And I'm wondering about the red fabrics. But it's growing on me....

I like it. I hope it grows on you some more, as it is very pretty, I think.

I hope it grows on you - I'm still not keen on mine, still too bright and busy though I have been staring at it for a few days. I don't think I will finish it as it is intended to be, but play around some more to see what I can do with it.

There seem to be a few disappointed makers of this quilt. I have seen some I like more than others, I will admit. Yours is looking nice.

I think it looks great. The colours work together very nicely...it might be a bit hard for you as you've been looking at the pieces 12" from your nose...but once you stand back it really has a nice flow to it.

Your quilt is beautiful. I had a quiting instructor who would call your color choice as "Soft Romantic".

Wow, it is fabulous. I love the hints of red, but then red is my favourite colour. Well done!

Your quilt is so cool, it really does remind me of the bubble gum I used to get at the dime store! Great memories, great quilt!

Look at all of those teeny tiny pieces. This must have taken a very long time to piece. It really is pretty Katie -- and not "scary" at all. I love it. Awesome work1

It is wonderful! Does it need borders? I like it as it is...but then if I see it with borders, I'm sure I'll like that too....LOL!

I LOVE yours! It turned out great!
Keep going!
I wrote on my blog that the quilt is so large already, I probably won't add borders.
