Libby has tossed out a challenge for us to show our ironing boards. Here's mine! It's a sideboard from Ikea. The idea comes from this book. I recently got silly and painted it purple! :-D
Whoa! Love the purple! That looks like a terrific ironing station...wish I had the room, maybe if I can rearrange. It's great with all the storage and looks like a great surface to iron backings and large pieces.
Click on photos to see them larger, possibly clearer and with more detail. No promises though! :-)

I am married to my very own Kiwi. Also a doll maker, sewer, quilter, beader, wannabe sculptor, gardener.....and so-so cook (gluten-free). I try...I really do!

Great idea for an ironing surface, I'm afraid mine looks a bit like Libby's, not clean and pristine like yours. Quilt Festival was fun, wasn't it?
Nice idea for ironing. I can put my small board on top of a chest of drawers. I have a larger one for clothes- which I hardly ever use!
What a great idea . . . I really need to get my hands on that book *s*
Wow that's the perfect ironing spot! The purple looks great.
cute purple ironing board! I think that's the same book I have in my wish list over at Amazon.
Very pretty ironing board - love the purple
Love the purple!!! It really adds something to the room!
