Bonnie made Part 4 of Orange Crush available today. I've cut all the triangles and put one block together to see how it looks. It looks absolutely YUMMY! Definitely a chocolate moment. :-D
I love your block so much. It is cheery and unbusy. Mine will be busy, and I like that too, but I am going to have to make a 30's fabric quilt as I think yours is beautiful. I have seen others lately that drew me in, and I can't wait to see your OC in 30's.
what a great block- it is just so yummy looking in those 30's sherbert colors. Nice job!! Had to peek at your doll photos as well...we have the same taste in designers! love the widgets and your secret keeper!! Keep on creating...
I never thought of doing Orange Crush in 30's prints. Your block looks great! I'm lagging behind now. Still piecing step two. In a way I'm glad to be slow as it gives me the opportunity to see what colors other quilters are using. I've already changed out one of my primary fabrics. Looking forward to seeing your 30's Orange Crush!
Beautiful! You are motivating me:) I am doing thirties too and these blocks will have blue and yellow.... I wonder if I will like them as much as I like yours:)
Hi Katie - wow this has tons of visual impact. Love how these colors come together. I'm off to check out others'. I'd like to try a project with a group like this sometime. I'll have to watch for the next one. Cathie
Click on photos to see them larger, possibly clearer and with more detail. No promises though! :-)

I keep seeing all these 'first blocks' on people's blogs but haven't even seen Bonnie's instructions yet!

Oh i LOVE the 30's prints...... I'm going to have to rethink this. I never thought they would give enough contrast. Lovely!!

I love your 30's colors. Your purple and green looks so nice together. My purple and green looks sort of scary.
